World partners with Tinder, Visa to bring its ID-verifying tech to more places

Worldcoin has announced key partnerships to extend the reach of its biometric identity verification system, World ID. The company is working with Tinder in Japan to verify user identities, helping reduce fraud and improve trust on the dating platform. In addition, Worldcoin has partnered with Visa to launch the World Card, a payment card that enables users to spend their digital assets anywhere Visa is accepted. These initiatives demonstrate Worldcoin’s intent to blend decentralized identity with everyday digital services, making identity verification and digital currency usage more seamless and mainstream.

Beyond these headline collaborations, Worldcoin is also expanding its tech integrations. It is partnering with platforms like Stripe, Kalshi, and Morpho, allowing users to log in or complete transactions using their World ID credentials. This points to a broader vision of using biometric verification as a universal login and payment mechanism across multiple online platforms. By embedding its ID technology into a variety of services, Worldcoin aims to offer a secure, user-controlled identity system that reduces the need for traditional, often cumbersome, verification processes.
