Anthropic forms a new team to grow its AWS business

Anthropic has formed a new team dedicated to accelerating the adoption of its AI services among Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers. This initiative is part of its broader effort to deepen its partnership with Amazon, which has committed up to $8 billion in investment in the AI startup. The new team will focus on building programs, fostering collaborations, and working with system integrators and enterprises to make it easier to deploy Anthropic’s Claude models through AWS’s Bedrock service. The goal is to make Claude more accessible and valuable to businesses using AWS infrastructure, and to grow Anthropic’s presence within Amazon’s ecosystem, including integration with Alexa.

This strategic move aligns with Anthropic’s ambitious revenue targets. The company expects to grow its revenue from $2.2 billion in 2025 to $12 billion by 2027. Much of this projected growth is tied to its partnerships and product integration strategies, with AWS playing a pivotal role. By embedding Claude into widely used platforms and focusing on enterprise adoption, Anthropic is positioning itself to be a major player in the rapidly evolving AI landscape, directly competing with other foundation model providers such as OpenAI and Google DeepMind.
