AI data startup WisdomAI nabs $23M with a smart way to avoid hallucinations

AI data startup WisdomAI has raised $23 million in seed funding led by Coatue, with participation from other notable investors, including the CEOs of Stability AI and Jasper. The company focuses on delivering accurate business insights by addressing one of the biggest challenges in AI: hallucinations, or the generation of false information. Unlike traditional large language models (LLMs) that often fabricate answers when they lack information, WisdomAI ensures its platform is grounded entirely in a company’s actual data. It does this by using generative AI not to generate answers directly, but to construct precise queries that pull from structured and unstructured enterprise data.

Founded by serial entrepreneur Diego Oppenheimer, WisdomAI’s architecture aims to combine the power of LLMs with the trustworthiness and transparency of data analytics tools. The system keeps a full audit trail of how an answer was produced, increasing trust among enterprise users. This approach appeals particularly to large organizations that require explainable and verifiable insights. The funding will be used to expand the team and further develop its platform, which already integrates with tools like Snowflake and Databricks. With businesses increasingly relying on data-driven decisions, WisdomAI positions itself as a next-generation intelligence layer that ensures accuracy and reliability.
